Ingredients:
1 3/4 cupsall-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tsps vanilla essence
2 cups finely chopped almonds
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
2 cups kellogs corn flakes (crushed to 1/2 cup)
Direction:
1. Stir togetherflour and salt. Set aside.
2. In large mixing bowl, combine margarine and sugar untill light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla essence. Beat well. With a spatula, cut flour mixture into margarine mixture.Stir in corn flakes and shape level tablespoons into balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.
3. Bake at temperature 350F for about 20mins or untll lightly browned. Cool slightly on baking sheet, then roll in icin sugar. Cool completely on wire rack before serving.
Store in airtight container.
